One thing I remember as a girl was receiving hand written letters from my grandma and aunts (and postcards anytime they went somewhere). I still have a letter from my aunt from when I was 7.
To this day I still receive long handwritten letters from my Aunt Joann. She knew I was missing fall, so she wrote it on this beautiful stationary and sent along some pumpkins and leaves.
I treasure these handwritten letters now that I am so far from home. And for the record, I do write back!
