Living and Active - Week 5 Update
 Here I am near the end of the 5 week challenge...down a skirt size!
I have greatly enjoyed this challenge.  It made me realize I do have the time in my day to exercise.  I averaged 5 days of exercising a week.  I stuck with Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred.  It is a killer, but very effective.  While I was packing for my trip next week, I pulled out some skirts that were the next size down, and they fit!  I was so excited!
Last Monday after I finished exercising something strange happened.  When I was finished with the 30 Day Shred, I went to get my kids a bedtime snack.  I started feeling lightheaded and dizzy.  I ended up laying down for about 20 minutes.  It was a bit scary, but made me realize I really do need to start taking care of my body.  It is the Lord's, and not mine. 
I'm about to head off on an 18 day trip to America to see my family and friends.  I'm praying I don't ruin everything I have worked for these last 5 weeks with all those wonderful American restaurants!
Week 5:
  • Exercised 6 days
  • Drank more water (still working on one soda a day)
  • Memorized the verse
"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless
unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
I Thessalonians 5:23
I am hoping to still be able to exercise while on my trip, if nothing else, I'll get a lot of walking in while I shop!  When I get home, I plan to start a new exercise dvd, and keep up exercising at least 4 days a week.  Thanks Peak313 Fitness for the encouragement to get started!

You did a great job over the last 5 weeks - Congratulations!!! ... Enjoy your holiday! Will we be seeing you tomorrow night?
