Science Experiments

As many of you know we homeschool.  One of the things I enjoy about homeschooling is relearning things with my children.  We are using Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology by Apolgia.  I am amazed at how much I do not know about our human body.  We are amazing designs!  How can scientists possibly say "There is no God"?

Here are a few experiments we've done as we study the book.
We made a human cell out of jello and candy.
We mummified an apple.
Showed how an egg is like a brain...
and why we need special fluid between our skull and our brain.

We love Apologia here and highly recommend their books.  There is a wealth of information to be learned, we just need to crack open the books and read!

"Egg"cellent lessons!

I miss homeschooling-as my baby is taking online college courses-19 years went very fast. Enjoy your training up of the children!

That looks like so much fun! I love science experiments. Have you ever put an egg in vinegar for a few days? The shell goes 'soft' well actually it looses it's calcium!
Have fun
