I've been making an extra effort lately in letting my kids help me cook in the kitchen. I say effort, because some days, well it is. I don't like messes, and cooking with kids = messes.
I've been finding some fun recipes on Pinterest, and am attempting at least one new recipe a week. This week we made soft pretzels.
Cody loves helping.
Cody and Autumn rolling out the dough. I told them to make snakes!
This was new to me. Boiling the dough for 30 seconds.
The final product!
I was really surprised how well these turned out. My husband and kids loved them. The entire process took about 2 hours. After making the dough, it had to sit for an hour. Then you had to roll it out, boil it, and bake it for 15 minutes. We also made the cheese sauce. You can find the recipe here at two peas & thier pod.

Homemade soft pretzals are a favorite around here too! I never thought of making bite sized...
That looks like you had fun. I've never had soft pretzals ~ over here they are crunchy hard snack type things ( hard to explain) ~anyway they look yummy!
