Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman

Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman was (and is currently) only $2.99 for the Kindle.  I downloaded it a few weeks ago, and started reading it this past Monday.  I finished it last night.  Just a warning, you will need a tissue (or two).

Mary Beth writes honestly about the death of their adopted daughter Maria.  She was accidentally hit by her older brother when he was pulling into their driveway.  Can you imagine?

On facebook a few weeks ago, prayers were requested for a family that was in a car accident and lost their three year old daughter.  My heart aches for them.  It brought back all the memories from when we were hit by a drunk driver last fall.  I don't know why God allowed us to all walk away from the accident, but I am grateful.  It makes me hug my kids a little longer, say 'yes' more often, and just sit and try to soak up the moments.

I really enjoyed this book, and highly recommend it, but like I said you'll need a few tissues.

Also, don't forget about my giveaway, just a few more days!
