This is Pastor Mark and his wife, Tricia. They have been missionaries here on the rez for 15+ years. It has been a privilege getting to know them. Tomorrow is our last day here in Ganado. I've been doing the packing in little spurts, trying not to get overwhelmed with leaving. This has been an amazing summer. One we will not soon forget. The people here have a very special place in our hearts. What a blessing to know that if we don't cross paths again here on earth we will see each other again in Heaven!

We traveled with their daughter, Michaela (Haynes) the summer that she was on OBC's singing group. We were her leader that summer, and I traveled with a newborn baby (who had been born in May). Coming from a large family, Michaela was SUCH a help to me that summer! Great family that we really admire! Please tell them hello from the Sloans.

Good-byes are tough. So glad we have Heaven to look forward to! I've really enjoyed reading all about your summer on the rez. Can't wait to read about your life in Australia! :-)
