My Week Via Instagram

This has been a rough couple of weeks for me.  About three weeks ago I got something they call gastro.  I was vomiting for 15 hours straight.  Then I was pretty well wiped out for the rest of the week.  Last week I was still in slow motion.  Then last Saturday my chest was starting to feel tight, and I woke up Sunday with no voice.  I only started getting my voice back on Friday, and have spent most of the week coughing.  I went to the doctors on Thursday and he said I have laryngitis and bronchitis. Fun.  I am now on antibiotics.  Then to top it all off, I woke up with a headache.  All this after I recently told my husband that I rarely get sick. Nice one, Jen.  Anyway,  I wanted to update my blog, but I'm not thinking straight, so I thought I'd share some photos I managed to take this week.

Cody and I went to The Escarpment Restaurant,
which is a new restaurant our friends just opened.

Tuesday night I went out to dinner with the ladies from our Bible Study.
I probably should've stayed home, because I had no voice came home feeling so much worse,
but we had a nice evening out.

Found this dragonfly in our house.

Since I was passed out on the couch most of the week,
the kids built this little fort outside and have spent most of the week
playing out here.  Together.  Nicely.

Friday nights is our local markets and we set up a stall and
Patrick and Ben make balloon creations for the kids.
We are able to pass out tracts and colouring sheets with invitations to Sunday School

Our neighbours set off fireworks last night and lit their yard on fire.
Fireworks are only allowed here on Territory Day (July 1) and from 6pm-11pm.
But for some reason people save the fireworks and set them off
randomly throughout the year.  This drives our dog insane.

That was basically my week.  Nothing exciting.
Hopefully I'll be back to normal next week.
I have 2 full weeks left to prepare for my family's visit!!!!!
