Salvation Mountain is a very cool place. A photographer would love it here! My husband was watching a movie and saw Salvation Mountain and decided we were going to visit it. I'm glad we did. My only regret is not meeting Leonard, Salvation Mountain's Creator.
Leonard's story is very interesting you can read about it here. This mountain was made out of adobe and paint, and has taken 25 years. He is no where near finished, and will probably be found working on it until his dying day. His message is clear - God is love.
