Oh, Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas tree!

Now that I am done posting about my NYC trip, I can move on to other things - like my Christmas tree.  I love Thanksgiving time, but Christmas is my favorite.  It seems like everyone gets into the Christmas spirit.  Yes, the stores get crazy and emphasis gets put on Santa, but for a brief moment I can pretend that people are taking a moment (whether they know it or not) to celebrate my Savior's birth.

The Thrifty Decor Chick is hosting a Christmas Tree Party and The Nester is hosting The Tour of Homes.  Go check out all the awesome homes and trees!  Here's mine...

Welcome!
And some of our ornaments...
Every year we buy a new ornament for our tree to symbolize something we love...
...or places we've been (I just got this one last weekend!)...
...or things we love...
...or places we've been...
I got these ornaments super cheap last year,
so I threw them in my Pampered Chef trifle bow.
And here is my tree at night.
Thanks for stopping by!

And remember Jesus IS the reason for the season.
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."  Isaiah 9:6
