You Capture

Photobucket

This is my first time linking up to You Capture hosted by
I recently downloaded Picasa 3. I'm in love with this FREE program! Although I edited these pics last night, I have no idea how to upload the edited pics to my blog. Can anyone help me out there? Do they automatically save to my pics? The first pic was taken at a wedding recently. It was a lonely little flower. The second pic was taken a few weeks ago at Disney. I'm looking forward to this new weekly challenge!

Very pretty!

I've never used picassa. I know photoshop requires you to save the shot and then it permanently replaces the picture in your computer unless you rename it (does that make sense?)

You can upload your pictures to a free program (flickr or photobucket) and then they provide you with the html codes to permanently attach the pictures to your blog. That way if you ever move or delete the picture in your computer - you don't loose the blog attachment.

HTH!

Hey there, love the flower pics!

When you use picasa, all you have to do is right click on the picture and click save (or save as) to update the picture. Then just post your pics as you normally would.

Hope that helps!

Great pics. I love Picasa. There are a few different ways to post pics. You can select the pics you want by clicking the green thumbtack to hold them and then use the Blog This button. I like to export (file folder icon at the bottom) a smaller size to another folder and then upload in blogger normally. Then I have all the photos for my blog in one spot. Also there is a Save to Disk button (upper right)for each folder that will save your edits and also keep original in a subfolder. Not sure if I'm making any sense here.
