Holy Land Experience

On Thursday, the church took us to The Holy Land Experience. It is owned and operated by TBN, not something we endorse, but nonetheless it was a really neat "experience". My husband had the opportunity to go through The Scriptorium that they have. He said it was really interesting. Here is a photo of the Scriptorium... While my husband went through the Scriptorium, I watched a play on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was very moving. I like how they interacted with the crowd. It was as if we were the crowd gathered at Mt. Calvary. The best part, of course, was the empty tomb! No other religion can say the serve a risen Saviour!
I have many, many more pictures, but for some reason (blogger or the wireless here at the hotel) I cannot upload more than 2. If you'd like to see more click here. It's the link to my facebook pictures.

Overall it was a really neat place. I'm really glad we had the opportunity to go, I am also very glad the church covered our cost to get in. I don't think we would have paid the $35+ each for the tickets.
