One great thing about my family is our gatherings. Aunt Jo has been great at keeping the family together. We always get together for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and whenever else we can find an excuse. Here are some pics of our afternoon. I couldn't believe it when I saw the bowl of Ambrosia (fruit). That has been a Christmas favorite in my family forever.
When I married, my husband's family would try to use it as a salad - a fruit salad - and eat it WITH the meal, and I would throw a fit because it was always a dessert/drink to us.
Does she put coconut and pecans in it? What a pain to make but heavenly to consume!
