We were at a church a few weeks ago, and a lovely older lady gave Autumn this American Girl Doll, named Nikki. It came dressed as a cowgirl and came with a small suit case with a change of clothes and a hat. The lady later sent us a package with some dresses, a nightgown, shoes, and a sleeping bag. She hand-made all of the items. We have emphasized to Autumn that this is a very special doll and she needs to take extra special care of her. Which she has done. She changes her into pj's every night before bed, and puts her in her doll bed, then every morning she changes her clothes. Brushing her hair is still a little difficult for her, but she's learning to keep it braided! We are so grateful to this lady for the doll and to the Lord for giving Autumn the desires of her heart. Autumn has wanted one for awhile, and if you know anything about them, they are NOT cheap. Its so neat to see how God answers even our smallest desires.
