Our fourth week in the states, we did a family trip to Disney World. The last time we went there the kids were 6 and 1. We wanted to do it again at ages where they will remember. It was an amazing 4 days, and we made a lot of great memories. I am working on a blog post on ways to save at Disney. I know there are a lot of great blog posts, but I wanted to share some tips that we learned.
Disney World
Orlando, Florida
We got to Disney World around 11pm on Sunday night.
Our beautiful hotel.
Our room.
Sporting our Mickey Mouse ears, ready for our first day!
Day 1 - Hollywood Studios
Elsa and Anna
Olaf
The claw!
We got to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody!
We heard if you yell "Andy's coming!" they would drop to the ground,
but I was too chicken to yell it!
Patrick and Autumn rode the Tower of Terror.
They're on the bottom left. :)
In the evening we went to Disney Springs and met up with the Lien family,
who is the states on furlough!
Day 2 - Animal Kingdom
The Kilimanjaro Safari was my favourite part of Animal Kingdom.
We rode it first thing in the morning, and then at sunset.
We were so thankful to have some family time.
Mickey Mouse soft pretzel!
Dug and Russel from Up.
We ate at the Rainforest Cafe for dinner.
Such a fun restaurant!
Rafiki from the Lion King
Autumn with Chip and Dale
The kids had no fear of the roller coasters.
An evening view of Expedition Everest
Day 3 - Epcot
With Anna
With Elsa
The Eiffel Tower back there.
Hopefully we get to see the real one next year.
Cody loved absolutely everything about the Animal Kingdom!
The firework display over the water was amazing.
Day 4 - Magic Kindgom
Gotta ride Dumbo!
A selfie in the bathroom of Cinderella's castle, of course!
We had dinner in Cinderella's castle.
We had an amazing view of the park from our table,
and got to meet the princesses.
A S'more dessert!
With Mrs. Incredible!
An absolutely magical vacation.
On our last night we had a surprise gift from a dear lady that I work with here in Katherine.
After a long 4 days!
I absolutely love these photos from the rides!
Our family photo from each park.
By the way, the Disney Photo Pass is totally worth it!
On our way back to Pennsylvania, we did a road trip with the Lien family.
Girls in one car...
...and guys in the other.
I hope you enjoyed a snippet of our trip to Disney.
