Saturday, 25th April we celebrated ANZAC Day. It's much like Memorial Day in the United States. Maybe it's because I have 2 brothers in the army, I'm not sure, but I love that people take the time to remember those who fought for our freedoms. If I lost a family member in war, I would want others to stop and be thankful for their service. It should not be in vain. Our little town had a dawn service, then later a march through town and another service afterwards. Autumn is in scouts and had the honour of participating in the march and laying a wreath at the service. So proud of her.
