This past week I took a 3 day training on Alzheimer's. It was a very informative course, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to have taken it. The instructor had this skull which included a brain (everything was to scale and weight!). The instructor knows I homeschool so she asked if I wanted to take it home for the night to show the kids. How cool that we're currently studying bones! They loved it, and we had some unscheduled class time as we observed and played with it. We couldn't believe how heavy the brain is. Next week we'll be learning what happens when a bone breaks and how God made our body to heal. Let's just pray we have no hands on experience for these lessons!
