A few months ago the kids and I were visiting another homeschool family. As I was talking to the mom, she shared her burdened for having a ladies Bible study. I told her I'd be willing to lead the Bible study if she would be willing to help.
July 23 we had our first Bible study. 7 ladies came out. All were eager to be there and learn together from God's Word. August 6th we had our second Bible study and 10 ladies attended. We've heard interest from many others and expect more at the next one.
I'd appreciate your prayers as this continues to grow. We meet fortnightly (every two weeks). We are currently studying the Proverbs 31 Woman.
I plan to share photos in the future, as well as some ideas for others to start a Bible study. This is such a great way for mom's to get together and fellowship with one another and learn from God's Word.

This is awesome!!! I love that you are leading these women!!! What a blessing - it's so good to have other women to fellowship with.

This is great!!! ... Where in the NT are you? I'm in Darwin, well in the rural area, but close. Our bible study @ church disbanded as there weren't enough of us going every week to keep it viable ... too many were missing the study each week :( . I have just been following the GMG's P31 study too and am looking forward to their Colossians study, though I am also participating in a book study with my GMG's group (all of whom are in America, lol) of Angie Smith's book 'What Women Fear'.
