Washintong DC - Cherry Blossom Festival

We had such a great time in Washington DC yesterday.  We saw a lot of sights and did a lot of walking.  The kids did a great job (lots of ice cream bribes!).  The weather was a perfect 75 degrees!  I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.  Praise the Lord!

Julie Child's kitchen - how cool!
The kids got to see some fun experiments with dry ice in the American History Museum.
Gorgeous tulips!

The Vietnam Memorial Wall
This soldiers were to the right of the Memorial Wall.
It was neat how they had them looking over at the wall.
My favorite president.
A view of the Capital building and the Washington Monument
from the Lincoln Memorial.
The Lien family, some dear friends the Lord has blessed us with.

Yesterday was the peak of the Cherry Blossoms.
Did you know that Japan gave us over 3000 Cherry Blossom trees?
A view of the White House from the Washington Monument.
It is very neat how everything is laid out in Washington.
The Hope Diamond which is in the Natural History Museum.
It was Camden's 6th birthday,
so we celebrated at Red Robin!
