We stayed home yesterday for my husband's birthday. I like to do birthday's big, but my husband would rather they not exist. So instead of a big party like I would've wanted to do, the kids and I decorated the living room with streamers, balloons, and other decorations.
For supper we had corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes which is one of my husband's favorite (especially when it's been in the crockpot since 9am). For dessert we had this apple pie (courtesy of the Pioneer Woman's Cookbook).

...an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen.
