Our Independence Day Weekend

This Independence Day I'm even more thankful for my freedom. Why? Because my brother is over in Iraq fighting on this Independence Day so that my family can be home enjoying our freedom.
I hope you all had a wondeful weekend. Saturday morning we went to our town parade. It was hot, but the kids had a good time.

Cody love watching all the fire trucks.
So thankful for these men in uniform.
On Sunday we had a meeting in Ontario, Canada. Kind of strange to sing "O Canada" and "The Star Spangled Banner" on Independence Day! We had a good service there.
In the evening we drove close to Niagara Falls and watched fireworks (from the Canadian side) in Buffalo. There were about 20 different place setting them off. It was neat to see all the fireworks over the river.

So, that was our weekend. We got home this afternoon, but will be leaving again on Thursday or Friday for another trip to Arizona to work with our Native Americans. I'm not sure I'm ready for another 40 hour car ride, but I'm sure the Lord will give us grace!
