Today I went grocery shopping. It took me over 3 hours (grant it, I was shopping for a month's worth of groceries). I've started looking where my food is coming from. Can I say how disappointed I am that a majority of the food said "Product of Mexico", even from veggies? I got my basics from Wal-Mart and Martins, then went to a local butcher and got all my meat.
The ideal would be for one store to sell local meat and produce. Why is this difficult? Why do I have to run all over town to get my groceries?
I plan to start paying better attention to where my food is coming from. I'm all for a good deal, but I'm not sacrificing either.
Thanks for reading my rant.
