Homeschool Curriculum

UPDATE - I didn't realize MckLinky closed, so I opened it up again.

Attention all homeschool moms!
I've been reading your blogs, and can't believe you all are already planning the school year. What is wrong with you?!! Didn't we just finish the 08-09 school year?

Since you all are talking about it, I thought I better get a move on. I have already ordered everything for Autumn for 2nd grade already (we were planning to be in Australia by now, so I ordered ahead of time).

Here's my delimma. I'm second guessing myself. Thinking, maybe I should use this curriculum for this subject and that curriculum for that subject, and so on.

For Kindergarten and 1st grade I used Abeka for all the subjects. I like Abeka, but there is a lot required of me. I also think their Math is too repetitive. Now I'm researching it a little more and finding out there is A LOT of homeschool curriculum to choose from. There is some really neat stuff out there. I really wish there was just one perfect curriculum, but sadly there is not.

So, here's what I would like to know. What curriculum do you use? What is your favorites? What curriculum have you used, and didn't like? What suggestions do you have for me?

Feel free to leave me comments, or write a post and link up with McLinky.

It will be fun to see what everyone is going to use.

Okay, looks fun I will try to do this though I don't have a lot of experience as my oldest is only in 2nd grade! :)

I just found your blog last week, so I'm catching up on past posts. I'm using A Beka too, but I am in a similar place. I know there are so many curriculums out there and I am second guessing my choice. I will of course use what I've already ordered for this year (K5), but I'm already exploring other options for the future. I like what I have seen of Sonlight so far, and I know several who use it. You might want to check them out. I really like your blog, by the way! :)
