I HATE Mice

Okay, so early this morning Cody woke up around 5am (which is his normal time to wake up for a bottle). So, I go in the kitchen make him a bottle and come back in the bedroom and I stepped on a DEAD mouse in my BARE FEET! Yuk...gross...aaahhhhhhhh! I hate mice, really, really hate mice. I know I am much bigger than the mouse, I know the mouse is more afraid of me (well, not if its dead, I guess), I know the mouse cannot hurt me, but still mice gross me out. I remember once when Patrick chased me around the house with a mouse (he had snakes at the time, and fed them mice...I would rather snakes than mice, by the way). I locked myself in the bathroom for hours, and was in tears! Yes, maybe I am a dork, but I don't care, I don't like mice!!

So, anyway, back to the story, I stepped on a dead mouse! Our cat, which does nothing but lay around and meow when her food bowl is empty, has apparently found a new hobby...killing baby mice. This is probably the 4th or 5th one. Grant it, I would rather a dead mouse than a live one running through my kitchen, and I am very glad the cat is finally doing something about the mice, but maybe the cat could kill it and then flush it down the toilet?... or maybe throw it in the trash can? No, well, at least the cat could move it to the corner of a room, not lay it in the middle of my bedroom floor...come on now! Anyway, thought I'd share this, because my husband thinks mice are cute - talk about me being a dork. Anyway, (I like the word anyway!)...I hate mice. Just thought you should know.

when we moved here, we rented a place that had mice....I stood on the kitchen chair until Bill had taken care of the one I found running around the kitchen! Then I went right out and got mouse traps...at 10 at night. I was afraid nothing was going to be open, and I would have to sleep with the mice running around!!

If you can train your cat to put the mouse in the toilet and flush, Letterman will be calling you for Stupid (or in this case, Smart!!!) Pet Tricks. :)

Oh, that is so awful!!! Mice are disgusting hideous revolting things!!!! Around here we have to be careful because they carry the haunta virus, which is deadly. So, I HATE mice too. (I would've been crying for hours and maybe DAYS if I had actually stepped on one....EW!)
