School Time

This is Day 7 of 1st grade! So far she loves it and is sad when we're done for the day. I've been giving her some extra of her Kindergarten work to keep her happy. I did a little rearranging of our living room to make this work. She has this little corner, and we use the book shelf to keep it all organized. I picked up a bulliten board to post our schedule, her projects, and whatever else we want.

She is finally beginning to read small words and recognizes most of her sight words. She loves Bible time and really enjoys math! I've figured out that its easier to do school time in the afternoon while Cody is taking his longer nap. I had too many interruptions last week during the morning. For the last 2 days we've done school in the afternoon and it worked out great. Let's just pray it continues this way for the rest of the year!!
